Team Sting Poomps Victorious at UCI Invitational
Winning for the second week in a row was David Pell '07, who cleared 6-8 3/4 in the high jump. Pat McDonough '06 was third at 6-6 3/4 and Pete Ippel '01
leaped 6-4 3/4 for seventh. Nate Jauvtis '99 was fourth in the pole vault at 14-11. On the women's side, Sarah Wilfred '07 was second in the high jump at 5-8 3/4, Shonda Brown '05 was second in the 400 hurdles with a run of 61.45, Jessica Brown '05 was third in the 800 in a fine 2:09.24 and Natalie Whelan '03 competed well in the 1500 to place ninth in 4:40.16 in her first track race in five years.
