Training updates

I will be training this week to be a wellness coach at the Presidio Branch YMCA, and have been in contact wth the Lucas Fitness Center to get into their book for personal training. I like the idea there, they have a bunch of biographies of the trainers, and the client sorts through the selections and choose the one that best matches their needs.
I also took my first cardio-kickboxing class on Thurs. night. I always thought that it would be lame, it's great for HJ though I think lots of A-motion stuff for track, and a bunch of hopping around (plyos) so I"m going to go to that class on days I don't hoop at lunch.
I also helped out this week with medicine balls on the circuit training class, and it was pretty fun, I think I would like to teach it.
The best news though is that Scott got a comment card recommending me to teach on Fridays fitness and bodyworks it was a really nice compliment, and shows me I'm learning and am giving people what they need.
Regarding my own training I'm in week 9 of the cycle finishing up with low reps (4x4) and high weight (295 squat and dead lift, 185 hang cleans, 205 hang pulls and 185 stepups and lunges). I plan to speed lift next week (or maybe just test on monday) My goals are 315 deadlift, 350 Squat, 215 clean...all those seem completely do-able.
I would like to get my squats up to 2.4 x body-weight which would be about 396 lbs. I need to get a good spotter, and a mercury switch squat monitor, because I think I am going too shallow...I really need to focus on that when I start back at 65% after the tests.
I'm 160 right now, hoping to get a few more lbs of muscle. I have really been focusing on eating more healthily, cutting out a bit more access sweets, and keeping track on my food pyramid...I have really been into yogurt and granola...as evidenced by the pic...
