Lifting and Track
after this week, i will have completed a full lifting cycle. ive been lifting everyday for three weeks now and am feeling much stronger. i havent really lost anything. im actually as strong or stronger than i was for outdoor heps last year.

so it is offical, i am coaching high school/intermediate track and field at iolani, a rich private school here. whats ridiculous is that my hs team will be in california competing during the same week that cornell will be in california competing. in fact, iolani is staying in hunington beach... crazy how this is all working out. so first official practice is in a few weeks because we dont have indoor season. im going to be training with the athletes so i can get my workout in too.

btw, i would really love to make it to philly for outdoor heps.

Dangit! TSP has great regular season but...
Blew YMCA playoffs, only had 5 for the first half, and then Gabe came for the second, so we at least had a sub...I feel like I let us down as a manager, in the sense that I wasn't able to recruit guys who would be able to come every week...

Plus we all had a tough shooting night..."We coudn't throw a tennis ball into a lake" to quote a friend...

Tough loss, great season, and a learning experience for all, signups are Jan. 30th.

NoCal Track
There are a bunch of age group meets this month, I'm going to try and get to a few of them. Penn State should be a great one...get that 2.16 and make sure that someone records it on video.

Hokay, so, season is starting full blast now. First meet back, 2.01m, not too bad for this meet, but still, I don't like it. I got a digital camera for the b-day, so I can now take pictures and some video. I got video of the meet, but nothing too great, so I won't make you suffer through it. Penn State this week, I like it there, hopefully it'll treat us all well...

SP Hoops Gets another win 47-41
So tonight we clinched the division. "Holla Back" lost, and we beat "Fat Kidz" Zack was finally here for the game and that helped a ton, and gabe was around too, Preston is in China and Eric is in Hawaii...Also JD was a bit of a suprise sub and divided guard time.

So all told we probably could have won by a larger margin if we had played with this unit a bit more...we've got next week off from games, though we're going to meet Thursday at 8pm for a shoot around.

Points were spread pretty evenly tonight, though we may have played a bit timidly, again Tate was a terror inside, Z hit a three and Gabe got his usual layups...Jon had a few really nice drives, and Brian canned his mid range jumpers...

I'm understanding where everyone feels comfortable, and I'm confident we can win this championship and to the "Top Gun" League we go.
