That's more like it, now get that indoor record...
Senior co-captain David Pell led the way with a seasonal best in the high jump, equaling his indoor PR and the #3 performance in school history with a clearance of 6-11 (and an IC4A qualifier). He led a 1-2-3-4 Big Red sweep of that event as sophomore Garrett Huyler (6-7), sophomore Jim Smith (6-7) and freshman Jay Pierce (6-5) also scored.
MUCH BETTER GUYS!

Hooray for High Jump!

A bit of inspiration for the season...Cal Berkeley all comer meets start in Feb and are every weekend. Hopefully I can get to a few...
The Wonders of Water
I am a bit skeptical, about the "follow your thirst" part, as I've always figured that if you're already thirsty, it's too late...

Getting a bit better...Spyke called from Hawaii to let me know the results...
Are these right, 'cause he said that there was some 6'11" going on...

New Tagline...
Since we've been "Stingin' it since '04" that officially makes us 3 years old...and I think Paddy said it best...
"Yes that's an S cuz we Sting it when we Bring it"
Hence the new slogan "Sting it when we Bring it" I'm working on a new logo, as Poomps the Taco, our beloved mascot, may have been lost in a hard-drive failure...

Don't worry about that meet. No jumping for a few weeks, coming off a 10 hr drive. Good news was I opened at 6'7 no problem, bad news I didn't go any higher. A week back with the HJ and I should be back to form.
Basically what I'm saying is forget about this weekend and keep your eyes peeled for Penn St results. It's always interesting going against Fritz...

C' mon guys, you can jump higher!
I hope this is not a representation of what you did over break...
